Pathways is hiring a Consultant. 

Job Purpose: We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant in supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs. You will play a crucial role assisting others in developing programs and implementing creative and innovative solutions to the customer’s problems. Researches and analyzes customer requirements. Your knowledge to determine the accuracy and reasonableness of the data, recommendations, and solutions developed will assist project managers and/or task managers. You will be relied upon to document and summarize results as well as develop and recommend creative and innovative solutions to the customer’s problems.

This is a remote role.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement creative and innovative solutions to address customer needs and requirements.
  • Research and analyze customer requirements, applying your knowledge to determine the accuracy and reasonableness of data, recommendations, and solutions proposed.
  • Support cross-functional teams, including program and project managers, to identify opportunities for improvement and develop strategies to address customer challenges.
  • Document and summarize the results of research and analysis, developing and recommending creative and innovative solutions to customer problems.
  • Support program or project managers in the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and other materials to communicate project status, findings, and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in meetings, workshops, and other events to gather information, share insights, and build relationships with customers and partners.
  • Continuously update your knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure the effectiveness and relevance of your work.
  • Perform other duties that may arise within the scope of the task order.

Minimum Qualifications:
 
  • Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of professional experience.
  • Knowledge in your field, with the ability to research, analyze, and synthesize complex information to develop actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively lead and work with customers, team members, and stakeholders at all levels. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and other relevant software tools.

Preferred Qualifications:
 
  • Master's degree and 2+ years of professional experience.
  • Experience working with the Department of Veterans Affairs or other federal healthcare organizations.
  • Familiarity with digital healthcare technologies.
  • Experience in healthcare operations, policy, or regulatory compliance.
  • Proven track record of success in managing complex projects and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with deployment and training initiatives.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented with ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in ever-changing work environment.
  • Experience supervising others in performing complex tasks and mentor junior staff.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.

Travel: depending on client requirements, expect up to 25% travel time for the position.

Compensation:

Pathways offers a collaborative work environment, a family type workplace culture, and growth opportunities in a variety of specialty areas. That means when we find good people (and they find us), they stick around for the long term.

Pathways offers a comprehensive benefits package including but not limited to health, medical, dental, vision, and 401k.

The compensation range for this position is $65,000.00 - $130,000.00. Exceptions based on experience and education.

Pathways 2 Solutions is a fully remote government contracting organization. Employees may work remotely from approved states where the company is authorized to employ personnel and maintain required payroll, tax, regulatory, and contractual compliance.

Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas.
